Seafood Boil Recipe




This is an amazing recipe to make at home and it costs significantly less than going to a seafood boil restaurant. In addition, you get amazing broth to use for other recipes.

(Serves 2-4)

Tools:
  • 8 QT. stock pot

Ingredients:
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 sliced andouille sausage
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Frozen corn on the cob
  • 5 chopped potatoes
  • 2-4 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 lb snow crab legs
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 20 cups water
  • 1/2 a packet of Louisiana's Crawfish, Shrimp, & Crab Boil Seasoning

Seafood Boil Steps:
  1. Over medium heat, add butter to stock pot, once melted add sliced andouille sausage and cook until brown.
  2. Add water, seafood seasoning and bring to a boil.
  3. Add potatoes, and cook until soft. Then add corn, onions and lemon.
  4. Add lobster and cook for 6 minutes, then add snow crab and shrimp and cook for another 6-7 minutes.
  5. Lastly add hard boiled eggs and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  6. Once done, plate then drizzle garlic butter.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

TIP: Freeze broth for up to 3 months.

Garlic Butter Ingredients:
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1/2 diced onion
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes

Garlic Butter Recipe
  1. Melt butter over medium heat in a pot.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until transparent.
  3. Add minced garlic gloves and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Then add the spices and cook for an additional 2 minutes then drizzle over seafood.
