Flaky Pie Crust


Double Crust Chicken Pot Pie

I love making sweet and savory pies all year round. A flaky pie crust is so easy to achieve and make by hand (no mixer needed). This recipe is beginner friendly and great to use for a single crust pie or double crust pie. The dough is easy to work with, be sure to not over mix the dough.

This recipe is perfect for 9inch baking dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 208g all purpose flour
  • 8 tbsp chilled cubed unsalted butter
  • Ice water 
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
