Banana Brownies
Banana Brownies



Equipment Needed:
  • 2 mixing bowls
  • Spatula
  • Whisk
  • Large strainer
  • 8x8 inches baking pan
  • Parchment paper

Ingredients:
  • 5 tbsp melted unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe banana's
  • 100g all purpose flour
  • 25g cacao powder
  • 80g dark chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Steps:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Roughly chop bar of dark chocolate with a sharp knife and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl mix flour, salt, cacao powder and baking soda until fully combined.
  4. In a separate large mixing bowl mash banana's, then add butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully combined.
  5. Sift dry mixture into wet mixture, gently fold mixture with spatula until fully combined. Add chocolate and gently fold with spatula.
  6. Pour batter into baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before slicing.
  7. Enjoy!
