Equipment Needed:
- 2 mixing bowls
- Spatula
- Whisk
- Large strainer
- 8x8 inches baking pan
- Parchment paper
Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp melted unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 ripe banana's
- 100g all purpose flour
- 25g cacao powder
- 80g dark chocolate
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Steps:
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
- Roughly chop bar of dark chocolate with a sharp knife and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl mix flour, salt, cacao powder and baking soda until fully combined.
- In a separate large mixing bowl mash banana's, then add butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully combined.
- Sift dry mixture into wet mixture, gently fold mixture with spatula until fully combined. Add chocolate and gently fold with spatula.
- Pour batter into baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before slicing.
