Oven Roasted Chuck Roast

 


Equipment Needed

  • Baking Pan
  • Plastic wrap
  • Butchers twine
  • Wire rack 
  • Meat thermometer 

Ingredients

  • Chuck roast
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

Steps:
  1. Slice chuck roast into half and cut off excess fat.
  2. Marinate all the sides of chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  3. Stuck one piece of the chuck above the other piece and tie butchers twine around to secure.
  4. Place chuck roast on a baking pan with a wire rack, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Pre-heat oven to 275°F degrees. Rub some olive oil on marinated chuck roast and roast in oven for 2-3 hours. Once the roasts temperature is at 145°F  remove from oven.
  6. Cover chuck roast with foil and rest for 45 minutes, cut off butchers twine before serving.
  7. Enjoy!
