Oven Roasted Chuck Roast
Equipment Needed
- Baking Pan
- Plastic wrap
- Butchers twine
- Wire rack
- Meat thermometer
Ingredients
- Chuck roast
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
Steps:
- Slice chuck roast into half and cut off excess fat.
- Marinate all the sides of chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Stuck one piece of the chuck above the other piece and tie butchers twine around to secure.
- Place chuck roast on a baking pan with a wire rack, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Pre-heat oven to 275°F degrees. Rub some olive oil on marinated chuck roast and roast in oven for 2-3 hours. Once the roasts temperature is at 145°F remove from oven.
- Cover chuck roast with foil and rest for 45 minutes, cut off butchers twine before serving.
